Course Offering Sequence

Bachelor Master Doctoral

 

 

A Bachelor Degree consists of 128 credit hours or credits at New Wineskin Theological Seminary & Bible College; it can be achieved in two different ways:

 

  1. Associates degree which is equal to 64 credits, plus an additional 64 credits at the seminary.  This makes a total of 128 Credit Hours all together.
  2. Bible exam (worth 32 Credit Hours) and Christian Ministry experience (worth 32 Credit Hours)  plus an additional 64 Credits of seminary work making a total of 128 Credit Hours.

 

On Campus classes are offered at 16 Credit Hours per 16 week term.  This is comprised of four 4 credit hour classes.  There are three terms available in each year.  Many students choose to take two terms per year making the seminary course work consist of two years duration.

 

Online Courses:

 

These courses are five week courses of intense everyday participation.  They equal 4 credit hours of seminary class work.  The courses are taken in sequence.  There are a maximum of eight five week courses in a year and the student can take two courses per five week class no more than twice per year (not recommended).

Masters Degree Program will consist of 64 credit hours above a bachelor.  Fifty-six (56) credit hours will be classes and eight credit hours will be a thesis of a minimum of 12,000 words or roughly thirty double-spaced type written pages.  There will be eight five week classes of four credit hours each in a school year or thirty two credits.  The thesis will begin at the first of the second year and go on through until completed.

The Doctoral Program will consist of sixty-four (64) credit hours beyond a Master’s Degree. Fifty-two (52) credit hours will be in class work and twelve credit hours will be a dissertation of 25,000 words or roughly 60 double-spaced type written pages. The dissertation will be started half-way through the first year of study and completed at the end of the second year.
